The Rooms Controller is the administrative heartbeat of our Front Office team. In this key role, you will be responsible for supporting our front-line, guest facing team. Interpreting and actioning reports, you will work cohesively with the Housekeeping, In Room Dining and Engineering departments to ensure a high 5-star service standard is maintained. This is an ideal role for a Guest Service Agent or experienced Front Office Attendant, looking for their next career step.
Our Ideal Candidate will possess: A desire to create memorable experiences for our guests through care and empathyAt least one year's experience as a Guest Service Agent, preferably in a high volume environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with OPERA PMSAn eye for detail and accuracyThe availability to work a rotating, 7 day roster including weekends and Public HolidaysResponsibilities Include: Participating and reviewing the daily handover for the Rooms DivisionLoading and lodging maintenance into HOTSOSReading, prioritising and actioning emailsReviewing and understanding in-house arrival and departure reports and actioning requestsUpdating VIP status and guest profile notesAssigning and allocating rooms and suites based on business needs and guest requests
