The Rooms Controller is the administrative heartbeat of our Front Office team. In this key role, you will be responsible for supporting our front-line, guest facing team. Interpreting and actioning reports, you will work cohesively with the Housekeeping, In Room Dining and Engineering departments to ensure a high 5-star service standard is maintained. This is an ideal role for a Guest Service Agent or experienced Front Office Attendant, looking for their next career step.
Our Ideal Candidate will possess: A desire to create memorable experiences for our guests through care and empathyAt least one year's experience as a Guest Service Agent, preferably in a high volume environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with OPERA PMSAn eye for detail and accuracyThe availability to work a rotating, 7 day roster including weekends and Public HolidaysResponsibilities Include: Participating and reviewing the daily handover for the Rooms DivisionLoading and lodging maintenance into HOTSOSReading, prioritising and actioning emailsReviewing and understanding, in house, arrival and departure reports and actioning requestsUpdating VIP status and guest profile notesAssigning and allocating rooms and suites based on business needs and guest requests
