About the position and what you would be involved in: Our service in Baulkham Hills can cater for up to 33 children per day between 6 weeks and 6 years old. The service features large spacious rooms with lots of natural light, state of the art modern facilities, and excellent resources.
The successful candidate will have the ability to develop a strong bond with each family and with other Educators. You will have an evident passion for providing a warm and creative learning environment for our children and making our service the first choice for families in the community.
Our Toddler room has up to 10 children each day between 2 and 3 years old. As our Room Leader, you would be responsible for guiding and mentoring the Educators and fostering a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and safe to explore and express themselves, while providing spontaneous and planned age-appropriate activities.
An understanding that young children develop at their own pace and have diverse needs, requiring patience and a compassionate approach.
The ability to communicate effectively with children at their level, as well as with parents and colleagues, while maintaining records and documents related to children's attendance, behaviour, and developmental milestones.
The ability to use innovative and flexible approaches to teaching that keep children engaged and cater to their different learning styles while assisting and supporting children in their learning and daily routines.
You will be able to think on your feet, help out with any task, and be an all-round team player.
This position is full-time working Monday to Friday, 38 hours/week. Our service operates Monday to Friday 7am-5.30pm; your flexible availability within those hours will be highly desired.
