Full time
We are seeking qualified Educators for Room Leader positions for our newly renovated Long Day Care Centre in Newtown/Geelong.
We welcome full-time, part-time, and casual Educators to apply.
We are also open to Educators of varied qualifications including Certificate 3, Diploma, and Early Childhood Teacher.
Licensed for 72 children per day, our multi-age grouping provides ample opportunity for learning to take place in an unhurried manner.
Our Centre has been recently fully renovated with freshly painted spaces, updated surfaces, replaced flooring, and brand new bathroom/nappy change spaces.
Our furnishings and resources are brand new, ensuring that our whole team has the very best resources to plan and implement high-quality activities for the children.
Our lovely, kind, and highly experienced Centre Director is passionate about mentoring Educators to achieve the best possible in their daily practice.
Together with our strong leadership team, the successful candidate will be very supported in their role.
We value our Educators and support them in advancing in their careers through our Professional Learning Framework, implemented through monthly workshops covering many areas of interest, including the National Quality Standards.
Our hands-on Director is passionate about early learning and fostering long-lasting relationships with families.
We provide time 'off the floor' to reflect on documentation and planning.
We offer FREE professional development and training, FREE staff parking, and a minimum of 80% off childcare fees for Educators with children.
We provide a custom-designed uniform and amazing resources, and we are inclusive of all backgrounds, cultures, and languages.
The role requires knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.
Applicants must have a strong work ethic and willingness to adapt to the flexible program at the Centre.
Full-time, part-time, and casual Educators are welcome to apply.
Successful candidates will hold a recognised Early Childhood qualification, such as an Early Childhood Degree or Diploma in Children's Services.
In addition, applicants must have:
A Working with Children Check A Senior First Aid/Anaphylaxis/Asthma certificate Child Protection Certification An understanding of the Code of Conduct, WHS Principles, and Education and Care Regulations We change lives and not just children.
