McHugh Steel is a manufacturing and construction company that specializes in the design and building of Sheds, Steel Framing, and Roofing for the building industry. McHugh Steel is based in Bundaberg and supplies surrounding areas.
We are looking for an Experienced Roofing Site Supervisor to join our McHugh Steel team.
The successful applicant must work well within a team, have a high level of communication skills, be reliable, and organized.
Your responsibilities will include: Pre-site measures and post inspections/quality control checksFull site supervising/project managementInstallations for maintenance for fascia, gutter, and roofingLiaising with onsite trades and building supervisorsDay-to-day scheduling, management, and coordination of trades on site, suppliers & deliveries, completion of paperwork, and other admin tasks.Ensure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times.Maintaining site safety and cleanlinessEnsuring work is completed to a satisfactory standardEnforce and adhere to OH&S regulationsAttend weekly construction meetingsIdeally, we are looking for someone who: Has strong leadership & motivational skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple teams of sub-contractorsAn ability to ensure that jobs are scheduled effectively and are managed within budget and time specifications.Exceptional attention to detail and qualityConfidence and ability in dealing with a diverse range of peopleAbility to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlinesGood communication skills, including oral and written communicationA passion to produce a high quality of workJob requirements: QBCC Building Supervisors licence held for a minimum of 12 monthsConstruction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)Trade/Construction background (Metal roofing experience)What's on offer: Generous salary package will be determined on experience:
