Rollers Group- Senior Mechanic - Leading Hand

Due to continued growth Rollers are seeking an energetic and team orientated Senior Mechanic - Leading Hand to be based in our Roma Depot. The successful applicant will lead a crew focusing on customer satisfaction, machine uptime, machine quality, efficiency, and safety.
What we're looking for: Trade qualification in Heavy Duty Plant Mechanics Minimum 3 years' experience as a Plant Mechanic Solid knowledge of Heavy-Duty Equipment Competence in routine maintenance procedures Driver License, HR preferred Hands-on approach with good computer skills Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment Tasks & responsibilities Assists with the assignment of jobs and work areas to technicians according to their skills and knowledge Performing servicing, general repairs and breakdowns on a fleet of road compaction equipment and various other types of road construction equipment Directs and assists in the diagnosis of machine problems for technicians Workshop and field based Covering Western QLD from the Roma and Emerald area Travel and overnight stays required. Covered by the company Fully maintained company vehicle. Phone, iPad, laptop provided. Appealing pay rate with yearly reviews, based on personal performance and company performance.
