Daily Rate: £300 per day (higher rate when travelling)
Contract: Ongoing Start: ASAP An UHNW Family Household is seeking a Weekend Chef with proven experience in a private household, on an ongoing basis for their Kensington residence.
Taking a handover from the Weekday Chef, you will work closely alongside the House Manager and a small Butler team to ensure the Principals are catered for in an intuitive and attentive manner.
Working on Saturday and Sunday each week, you will be responsible for providing lunch, dinner, and snacks for a family with children.
There is also a requirement to travel with the family during some school holidays, on rotation with the other Chef (usually no more than 4 weeks in any year).
This is a busy and vibrant fully-staffed household, and the Chef should be highly flexible, used to working within a household team, and unfazed by any last-minute changes that can happen in a private household.
The family is relaxed but has high standards, enjoying food that is delicious and nutritious—appreciating a variety of cuisines ranging from British classics to Asian-inspired dishes. Dietaries for the Principals will also need to be accommodated, and creativity is needed to keep the children's dishes engaging, including interesting snack options.
Occasional entertaining will require more formal presentation of dishes to provide a wow factor.
The family would like a Chef with long-term experience in private households.
