Rochford Solicitors is a respected and trusted legal practice based in the CBD of Toowoomba. Our dedicated team provides clients across Australia with exceptional legal services across a range of practice areas including banking & finance, property, wills & estates, and commercial law.
You will work closely with our director with 20+ years of legal practice experience and a friendly team who strives to deliver results for our clients.
Role & Responsibilities
Answering incoming calls and greeting clients attending the firm Proactive diary management and meeting co-ordination Setting up meeting rooms, which includes the set-up of virtual meetings Ensure the reception area and meeting rooms are always maintained at a high standard Create and maintain client files including data entry and electronic filing Prepare and proofread various documents including letters and other correspondence Assist with sending emails, conducting searches, brief preparation, and PowerPoint presentations as and when required Assisting with general administrative tasks and general filing Work with legal management software systems Maintaining stock control of stationery, kitchen, and office supplies Assist with organising maintenance for the office Managing incoming and outgoing mail The Ideal Candidate
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent presentation and communication skills Ability to work autonomously and show initiative Management skills to meet time-sensitive deadlines Be collaborative and eager to contribute to a supportive team atmosphere Preferred Skills
Previous reception and administrative experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment will be highly regarded but not essential Experience with LEAP legal software and PEXA will be highly regarded but not essential Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience.
