Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation in the energy sector, is searching for an ambitious and highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their Treasury and Financial Planning & Analysis team. Key Responsibilities: Build and refine 3-way financial models and specialised purpose models in Excel. Analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Partner with wider business functions including Executive Leadership Team to provide financial analysis commentary and insights. Advise on financial products, derivatives, and hedging strategies to optimise cash flow and accounting treatments. Support a range of debt financing activities, including corporate, working capital, and project financing. Analyse and negotiate commercial agreements. Oversee treasury functions, including payments and cash flow tracking. Provide insights into energy markets, driving strategies aligned with the energy transition. Partner with Risk and Trading teams to enhance credit and risk analysis. Leverage data to drive business analysis improvements and enable insight-led decisions. What We're Looking For: Big 4 or high-mid tier accounting firm experience highly regarded, and/or 5 years of experience in a similar commercially-focused role A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting Hands-on experience with financial products, financing, commercial agreements, treasury, tax, legal documents, valuations, transactions, credit and risk analysis, and/or business analysis. Strong communication skills and the confidence to collaborate with executive leadership and external stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, planning and modelling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. CA, CFA, or CPA qualifications are advantageous.
