Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving their data transformation program.
This permanent position, based in Sydney, offers the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders, design and implement data solutions, and ensure data quality and integrity.
Your technical prowess and attention to detail will be instrumental in optimising data architectures, identifying data risks, and promoting data-driven decision-making.
You'll also work closely with the Chief Data Office to align with data governance standards and contribute to the overall success of the program.

What you'll do:
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business Optimise data architectures and promote data-driven decision-making Source and review data architecture and models across applications to determine data migration impact Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and act as a proxy between technical and business specifications Develop and maintain data models, flow diagrams, and dictionaries Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all systems through risk identification, mitigation, and control uplifts Optimise and enhance data architecture for scalability and performance Ensure compliance with data, privacy, and record-keeping obligations Work closely with IT and business teams to align data strategies with business goals What you bring:
Strong understanding of data architecture, modelling, and governance principles Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Python, Azure for data analysis Excellent communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills for resolving data quality issues Experience in financial institutions Keen attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Commitment to data security and compliance What sets this company apart:
