As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in contributing to the development of budgets, forecasts, and strategic projects. This role offers a competitive salary of $130,000 + Super and is based in Sydney's CBD.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, your role will be diverse and integral to the success of our client's finance team. You will work alongside skilled finance professionals, contributing significantly to budget development and periodic forecast updates. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing monthly reporting packages for senior executive management, tracking financial performance against budget and forecast. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you provide key finance support for FP&A strategic projects through financial analysis and modelling. You'll also have the opportunity to develop key information systems and processes, ensuring accurate and timely provision of financial information.
Contribute to the development of the Budget and periodic Forecast updates Prepare monthly reporting packages for senior executive management, tracking financial performance against Budget and forecast Provide key finance support for FP&A strategic projects, offering financial analysis and modelling Offer valuable business partnering to the business Provide internal customers with information and advice on financial and other business-related issues Assist in developing key information systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely provision of financial information and data Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Financial Analyst position brings a wealth of experience in business budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. You are CA or CPA qualified with a strong business acumen that fuels your passion for understanding how businesses operate. Your analytical mindset enables you to interpret data effectively while your excellent presentation skills allow you to communicate complex financial concepts clearly. You are adept at building relationships across multiple stakeholders, influencing others to meet deadlines. Your advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, will be essential in this role.
