What you'll do: As an Investment Associate, your role will be pivotal in contributing to the ongoing growth of the corporate private credit strategy. You will be responsible for assessing potential debt investment opportunities, building detailed financial models, conducting sensitivity analysis, and preparing investment papers for the executive leadership team. Your ability to drive and execute against a full range of workstreams within transaction situations will be crucial. Additionally, you will support portfolio management activities, ensuring effective tracking and management of debt portfolio covenants.
Assess and explore potential debt investment opportunities Build detailed financial models and conduct sensitivity analysis on key business drivers Undertake strategic research and analysis to support investments as well as identify market trends Prepare investment papers and other related materials for the executive leadership team Drive and directly execute against a full range of workstreams within transaction situations Support portfolio management activities including tracking/management of debt portfolio covenants against respective requirements What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Investment Associate position will bring a wealth of knowledge from previous roles in private credit investing, investment banking, leveraged finance, commercial banking or M&A. You will have strong technical skills coupled with a genuine commercial understanding about what drives value in a business. Your experience in financial modelling and transaction execution will be invaluable in this role. Furthermore, your ability to cultivate a range of stakeholder relationships will be essential.
Tertiary qualification with strong academic results 3 – 6 years' work experience in private credit investing, investment banking, corporate banking, leveraged finance, commercial banking, M&A or similar roles Strong technical skills with a genuine commercial understanding about what drives value in a business Transaction experience – specifically, execution / delivery of M&A transactions and/or debt financing along with an ability to cultivate a range of stakeholder relationships What sets this company apart: Our client is renowned for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, actively promoting a culture where all employees feel valued and included.
