Our client is seeking a dedicated Injury Management Specialist to join their dynamic team. What you'll do:
As an Injury Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive injury management services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include implementing strategies designed to improve rehabilitation service delivery, providing specialised injury management services for various types of injuries, and offering high-quality advice on injury management. You will also facilitate the workers' compensation claims case management process while ensuring compliance with legislation.
Provide injury management functions in accordance with policies and relevant legislation Implement and coordinate injury management strategies aimed at improving rehabilitation service delivery Provide specialised injury management service for a range of physical and psychological injuries and illnesses Work collaboratively to coordinate rehabilitation functions, including the establishment and maintenance of rehabilitation consultative processes Provide high quality advice, support and training to management, rehabilitation and return to work coordinators in relation to injury management Facilitate the management of the workers compensation claims case management process
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Injury Management Specialist role brings a wealth of experience or qualifications in the area of rehabilitation or case management. Your ability to provide high-quality advice on injury management matters will be crucial in this role. You have experience facilitating the workers' compensation claims case management process and have knowledge of relevant legislation. Your analytical skills enable you to assess statistical data, identify trends, and understand their impacts on the organisation.
Experience or qualification in the area of rehabilitation or case management is highly desirable Ability to provide high quality advice, support and training in relation to injury management Experience in facilitating the workers compensation claims case management process Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 is advantageous Ability to analyse statistical data, trends and impacts on organisation
