Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of financial operations while supporting the growth and stability of their business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead key financial functions, including accounts payable and payroll, and will be responsible for preparing management reports and coordinating external audits.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and guide the daily financial operations to ensure seamless business activities. Provide leadership and support to staff, including managing performance, recruitment, onboarding, training, and development. Monitor cash flow and evaluate accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels to maintain an ideal balance. Keep comprehensive financial records, such as accounting documents, tax filings, and other critical financial documentation. Manage the accounts payable process to ensure steady cash flow and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely calculation and distribution of employee compensation. Lead the finance team in executing key financial tasks, such as month-end closings, and handling accounts payable and receivable. Coordinate and work with external auditors to facilitate smooth annual audits. Actively review and manage the company's contract register to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory financial reporting standards. About You: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required (CPA or equivalent is preferred). A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable financial management position is essential. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and payroll processes is necessary. Experience in leading and overseeing finance teams is required. Must possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required. Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, including IFRS, is important. Experience with accounting software such as MYOB Advanced or similar platforms is desired. Flexibility and a willingness to acquire new skills and experiences are crucial. Experience with system implementation, integrations, improvements, and enhancements is advantageous. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
