Our client is seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst for a contract role. This position is integral to their Risk and Control team, combining strategic establishment of the data and reporting function with hands-on implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, capturing, monitoring, and reporting operational risk data to aid in data-driven decision making.
What you'll do: Establish a robust data management system that captures, monitors, and reports operational risk data. Integrate information from various sources into a single database using existing enterprise solutions. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders within the Risk & Control team. Act as a liaison between IT/technical teams for reporting requirements. Train stakeholders on data processes, tools, and reporting. Design and implement the data management and reporting infrastructure for the risk and control function. Oversee and support data collection across teams ensuring consistency and accuracy. Integrate information from multiple sources into a single database using GRC and MMC reporting tools. Design and deliver regular and ad hoc operational risk reports for identified stakeholders. Analyse data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making. Monitor trends for risks and opportunities. What you bring: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Data Analytics, Information Technology or related field. 3 to 5 years' experience in data management, business intelligence, or reporting. Track record in implementing data systems and frameworks. Strong analytical skills. Attention to detail in data capture and entry. Ability to collaborate with colleagues and senior leaders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professionalism, deadline-driven approach, ability to work autonomously. Willingness to continuously improve, learn new technologies/tools.
