Are you a skilled and enthusiastic automotive mechanic looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your talents while providing exceptional service to motorists in need? RAC WA is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Roadside Patrol Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
The position:Operating on a flexible rotating shift roster between the hours of 6:00am and 11.30pm from Monday to Sunday, the main duties are:
Respond to roadside assistance events, providing on-the-spot mechanical repairs and assistance to RAC members.Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of vehicle breakdowns and mechanical issues efficiently and accurately.Utilize your technical expertise to perform minor repairs and adjustments, including battery replacements, tyre changes, and jump-starts.Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring members' safety and satisfaction during stressful situations.Coordinate and liaise with additional resources when required, such as towing services or other specialized assistance.Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of services provided, adhering to RAC's procedures and guidelines.In this role, you will be required to start your day from a designated location.
What are we looking for?You will have:
