In this role, you'll: Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools. Undertake road maintenance activities which may include, but not limited to, pavement repairs, road corridor maintenance, road pavement rehabilitation, and small and heavy patching works. Perform Traffic Control duties where required. Participate in daily toolbox meetings with a key focus on safety. This is Road Worker Grade 1 - 3 and is an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand skills and experience within a civil environment. About you: You are a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments. You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting. You must hold the following tickets/ Licences. White Card Current driver's licence Traffic Control tickets are preferred for the role but not essential as Training will be provided. Please check out the Road Worker Grade 1-3 role description for more information You will live within a 50 km radius from the Goulburn works depot and are prepared to work outside normal working hours, attend callouts, and work away from home when needed.
