What does the job look like?Join Linfox's Intermodal team based in Willawong as the QLD Road Manager and take charge of all aspects of our Intermodal Road Operations in Queensland. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a dedicated team, championing safety, compliance, and operational excellence. With your strategic mindset and leadership skills, you'll drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and cost effectiveness, while delivering top-tier service to our customers.Key Responsibilities:Ensure profitability and key performance indicators align with customer contractual requirements and KPIs for each QLD contractFoster and expand existing customer relationships to drive increased business opportunitiesContinuously explore operational synergies nationwide to implement cost-saving improvement initiatives benefiting Linfox and customersCollaborate with Senior Management to establish operating budgets for QLD operations, guiding operational teams to achieve planned outcomesSupervise operational teams to optimize labor and fleet utilization while ensuring compliance with relevant industrial regulationsAre you the one?Five years' hands-on expertise in logistics management, with an emphasis on Road Transport OperationsProficient understanding of industrial instruments, coupled with adeptness in P&L and budgetary proceduresStrong communication skills adaptable to various audiences, coupled with influencing skills and a customer-centric approachSound IT proficiency and financial acumen, complemented by a track record in overseeing multi-site operations and engaging multiple stakeholders effectivelyProficient in the use of MS Office (PPT, Word & Excel)At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
