Women's and Children's Health Network, WCH Network Operations Centre (NOC), Division of Nursing & Midwifery, North Adelaide 5006Salary - Classification RN/M2 - Registered Nurse/Midwife LV 2 $84,870 - $107,279 pro rataMultiple Opportunities - Full time or Part time - Temporary 12-month Contract About the Opportunity We currently have multiple exciting opportunities to join the Network Operations Team as a Clinical Nurse – Code Grey. In this role you will support the delivery, evaluation and ongoing improvement of the aggression and violence prevention and management program (Code Grey) at the Women's and Children's Hospital.
This role requires advanced skills in proactive management, communication and review of violence and aggression, utilising exceptional leadership skills to guide, support and grow response teams.
If you are a Registered Nurse and have at least three years, full time equivalent, post registration experience, with a passion for paediatric or adolescent Nursing, WCHN Code Grey Team will offer you fulfilling career development opportunities.
This role is rostered over 7 days and indicative shift times are between 9am and 10.30pm.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the timely and appropriate address of Code Grey responses including, managing local code grey incidents and supporting governance of Code Grey across the organisation.Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to monitor patient/client care plans, assist with clinical decision making and ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis.Collaborate with stakeholders across WCHN to contribute to the review, improvement and implementation of the policy and procedures on Code Grey.Contribute to peer reviews for Code Grey; to evaluate outcomes and support recommendations for improvements.Utilise appropriate escalation and incident reporting processes.Regularly review code grey data to determine opportunities for improvement and inform the planning, coordination and delivery of service improvements.To find out the specifics, including the key selection criteria and special conditions, please go to the relevant attached role description(s).
