We are looking for a MEP Cadet or recently graduated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Brisbane Team! Our ideal candidate will have a keen interest in MEP services estimating and a positive approach to service delivery.
The MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out and delivering both pre and post contract estimating duties, including but not limited to:
Project estimates for the various phases of a project Cost control – planning, forecasting and estimation Value management associated with mechanical services Benchmarking analysis associated with mechanical services Post contract services, including assessment of progress claims and assessment of contract variations. 4th or 5th year university experience or a recent qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, construction economics, or property-related fields Keen interest in services estimating for construction projects A combination of strong estimating, technical skills and practical knowledge The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a project team Excellent communication skills and an ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships Eligibility to work in Australia Job Features Job Category: Technical
