Role: RJE Global are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Engineering Design Manager to join our team. This pivotal position offers the chance to manage and coordinate our multidisciplinary engineering design efforts, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards within set timelines and budgets. As the Engineering Design Manager, you'll oversee the entire design phase, from conception to completion, and serve as the bridge between engineers, project managers, construction teams, and clients. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and mentor the engineering design team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Oversee the design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and company objectives. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to develop and deliver design solutions. Ensure designs are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with project specifications. Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and provide technical guidance to the team. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the design function. Manage resource allocation and workload to optimise team performance. Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) 5+ years of experience in engineering design, with at least 3 years in a management role. Proven experience in design management, scheduling, and quality control. Strong understanding of Australian and International Standards. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the mining, utility, resources, or renewables sectors. Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD).
