The Role: RJE Global are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join the project team, specifically a BESS project in regional South Australia, where we require significant bulk earthworks to be completed.
Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, collaborating with the project site management team to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. You will be provided excellent training to allow for continual growth and development.
Responsibilities: Complete field quality control tests and verifications Assisting with quality assurance review and development to ensure compliance with company's Quality Management System and accreditations Witness and review quality checks and documentation Review and compile project quality documentation Work closely with the Senior Project Engineer and project team to efficiently achieve project milestones Review technical design drawings and documents and provide feedback on constructability and constraints Support with the development and implementation project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with client requirements, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and other external stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for future collaborations Required: Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field Demonstrated experience (minimum 1 year) in working on large-scale bulk earthworks and/or road construction projects, preferably within Australia Construction White Card Driver's License Strong knowledge of Australian construction regulations, codes, and industry standards Have a strong understanding of civil construction quality control requirements Proficiency in engineering software and tools i.e. AutoCAD Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to effectively lead and motivate project teams Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and provide practical solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines Willingness to travel to project sites across Australia as required Advantageous: A postgraduate degree in Construction or Project Management Understand and administer commercial and contract documents Australian Citizen or hold permanent Residency status in Australia Previous experience in the Construction industry Ability to read and interpret drawings Based in Adelaide is preferable If you are ready to take the next step in your Engineering career with RJE Global, we encourage you to apply.
