About the Position
The College is currently seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Facilities Manager who is passionate about quality work and preventative maintenance. The Facilities Manager is responsible for identifying and supporting the implementation of the College's Strategic Plan in relation to the facilities, grounds, assets, and services at Rivermount College. Leading, coordinating, and participating in the day-to-day operations of our Facilities Team, the Facilities Manager will ensure that the College delivers an immaculate environment providing a positive experience for students, staff, and the community.
This is a salaried full-time position typically working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; however, flexibility will be required to work evenings and weekends to support and manage key projects, major works, and community events.
Selection Criteria:
Previous experience as a Facilities, Property, and/or Maintenance Manager in an education environment is desirable. Knowledge and understanding of OHS and safe work practices. Previous experience in leading, supporting, and mentoring a team. Ability to build cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Competent in using MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Results-driven with the ability to be proactive, adaptable, and resourceful. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent personal presentation.
