Visy Logistics is seeking a dynamic and experienced RIFL Manager to oversee the effective management of our company fleet and labour operations.
This pivotal role carries full P&L and safety responsibility, ensuring seamless delivery of road and rail services while meeting customer delivery schedules.
You will work alongside a high performing team collaborating with Regional Operations Managers, scheduling teams, and production planners.As part of our commitment to finding the best talent, we are dedicated to supporting the successful applicant with relocation support if needed.
What You Will Do: Manage and deliver P&L results and update financial forecasts on a monthly basis.Drive safety & cultural standards, continuous Improvement, OH&S, compliance and injury management of driver & operational staff.Manage assets and labour daily, focusing on weekly planning to ensure containers are ready for on-time customer deliveries.Oversee the performance and development of the team and vendors maintaining coverage and ensuring timely and accurate work output.Monitor and optimise container inventory levels of along with optimising asset utilisation.Ensure accurate tracking and movement of equipment, managing customer relationships, and resolving issues as they arise minimising disruption to operationsOffer strategic insights into the financial performance of fleet and site operations to support management decision-making.Efficient use of labour across driving & warehouse functions, including permanent & casual employment.Represent Visy Logistics and the wider brand with stakeholders and customer within the Region.
What you will bring to the team: An extensive understanding of Intermodal Transport and Warehousing.Experience in managing a Logistics P&L with the ability to provide strategic analysis enabling business growth.Containerised Import/Export experienceExperience in leading and developing high quality teams in the freight/logistics industry.Demonstrated experience in Chain of Responsibility, Mass Management, & Fatigue Management.Sound computer literacy in MS Office Suite, TMS, Container Chain, & CargoWise.Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
