The Role:
We're hiring a Risk Specialist to lead Risk in Change processes across key initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring that all changes—whether strategic, operational, or technological—are thoroughly assessed for risks (delivery and delivered) and managed effectively. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in risk management, change management, and projects, with a proven track record of leading risk in change across large projects and mitigating risks associated with change.
This role sits within our Business Risk hub for Line 1 Risk, working with the Group Risk and Business Risk team to deliver risk in change.
We're a relatively small organisation with a flat structure, so this role will be hands-on. This will involve day-to-day collaboration of the team across functions to ensure risks are identified and mitigated, aligning to our risk appetite and strategy.
Proposed Position Requirements are:
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., Certified Risk Manager, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) preferred.
7+ years of experience in risk management, with significant exposure to risk in change processes.
Proven track record in managing complex change initiatives and mitigating associated risks.
Proven experience working on technology programs, with payments or financial services.
Robust experience working on projects with high levels of dependencies and integration with third parties.
Experience with regulatory projects and engagement with regulators.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex risk information to diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in risk management and change management tools, with a solid understanding of relevant frameworks and methodologies.
What happens next:
At AP+, we believe in the power of passion, pride, and purpose. Our team is driven by a shared mission to make a difference in the world of payments, and we're proud to work together towards this common goal.
If you're ready to be a game changer, please submit your application & the Talent Acquisition team will endeavour to review and notify you of the outcome within the next two weeks.
We want to remove all barriers to inclusion so if you need advice or support with your application, we're here to help. Please reach out to ******. We also encourage you to let us know your pronouns at any point during the recruitment process.
AP+ are not accepting application submissions from Recruitment agencies for this role.
