Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney. Comprising Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for western Sydney.
This role will report to the HSEQ Director and be responsible for establishing and managing the risk management process in accordance with the Company's governance, project requirements, and ISO 31000.
Accountabilities:Ensure compliance with the key values of the organisation in all parts of the role.Ensure safety remains a core priority in all actions within this role, including the identification of hazards, recording of risks, and implementation of controls in accordance with correct procedure.Ensure accountability and sustainability for the environment.Main Responsibilities:Provide a framework and guidance to ensure all risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, and managed.Establish and manage risk registers and the hazard log.Organise and facilitate risk assessments, including qualitative and quantitative assessments.Manage the transfer of risk from the project to RDWSA.Liaise with interface parties to assess and manage risk, including local councils, TfNSW, and Western Sydney Airport.Embed risk management principles within RDWSA in readiness for the operations & maintenance phase.Present risk management outcomes to a range of stakeholders including senior management, the client, and regulators.Support the education and promotion of risk management to employees and management.
