Risk Consulting (Insurance & Superannuation)Full timeThis Second Line Risk Manager position, reporting to the Head of Risk and supporting the General Manager Risk & Compliance, is responsible for effectively implementing icare's risk management framework through robust risk advice and relationship management.This role will play a key part in advising and enabling the business to identify, assess and manage risks in a consistent and systematic manner applying robust risk strategies. This role has a specific focus on enterprise-wide organisational resilience, business continuity risk and incident / crisis management processes.DutiesAs a Risk Manager, you will:Support the effective implementation of the enterprise-wide risk management framework across the icare business, through provision of subject matter expertise in risk advice.Provide information and advice to the General Manager Risk & Compliance and Head of Risk on the evaluation of business strategies to mitigate risks.Support the business to identify, assess, manage and monitor key risks.Develop close relationships with aligned business divisions to foster trust and provide informed risk advice.Act as the first point of contact for the business in relation to risk activities.Research and provide input into the risk management framework and associated policies and procedures to ensure they reflect industry best practice.Skills & ExperienceExperience working in second line managing enterprise-wide organisational resilience, business continuity risk and incident / crisis management processes is essential.Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance, law or other relevant discipline.Preferred experience in insurance industry or banking industry.Very well-developed understanding of business risk and mitigation strategies and assurance frameworks.A broad range of experience in risk management.Very strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks.CultureWe know our strength comes from the diversity of our people and would encourage people with different experiences and backgrounds to apply.
