The role Crown Resorts has an exciting opportunity for a risk professional to help re-define what Risk looks and feels like at Crown Sydney.
As part of the property risk team, you'll collaborate with all levels of the business and will be the key lead in uplifting operational risk and control capability across a diverse range of functions including hospitality, gaming, property services and corporate.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone passionate about delivering training to embed a risk-oriented culture and mindset into an organisation, whilst having the chance to elevate your career in risk.
The role would suit a Senior Associate or a Risk Manager who is heavily involved in operations or is looking for a role where they can be a part of and close to the action.
We need a real do-er and a business partner, who has excellent people skills to work closely with the business units to consult, coach and support our teams on the floor to uplift risk maturity from all angles, as well as discharging Line 2 oversight.

Some of your key responsibilities will involve : All facets of enterprise risk including embedding Crown's risk management framework, risk appetite statement and dashboard and overall governancePromoting a strong risk culture and embedding this within functions through training, workshops etcSupporting business units to effectively self-manage risk through ongoing training and capability developmentReviewing hygiene of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system and designing initiatives to drive uptake and consistent usage of the systemUplifting business knowledge around tolerance indicators, metrics and reportingReporting and presenting to all levels of the business, including key senior leaders such as CEO and BoardExecuting incident and issue management tasks as Line 2 including root cause analysis to ensure control gaps or weaknesses are upliftedSupporting embedment of remediation deliverables alongside the Head of RiskYou'll have : An analytical mindset, strong internal motivation and ability to deliver results in a challenging and complex operating environmentExcellent people skills, including ability to facilitate and provide engaging training sessions and workshopsDemonstrated experience in Line 1 or Line 2 Risk Management rolesExperience with risk management frameworks and building and maintaining risk profiles including the risk and control assessment processExperience with developing, maintaining and operating data within GRC systems to generate insights and identify trends and themes (knowledge with Archer GRC platform will be beneficial)Understanding of risk-based reporting to Management and/or BoardsWorking experience in gaming, hospitality is advantageous, but not requiredAbility to obtain all required Casino Employee LicensesWhat we offer you : Permanent, full-time opportunity based in Crown Sydney (accessible by public transport – bus, train, metro and ferry)Opportunity to be part of a dynamic business and help to uplift Crown Sydney's risk maturitySignificant career development in a unique industry with exposure to all levels of leadershipComplimentary meals at our on-site staff restaurant (variety of hot foods, salad + sandwich bar, fruit and pastries)Opportunity to take part and be rewarded in Crown's group-wide recognition and awards programAbility to be an active member of and participate in Crown's community, diversity & inclusion committeesGenerous discounts across Crown hotels Australia wide, as well as our restaurants and barsAccess to discounts with various corporate partners across insurance, health & wellbeing, fashion, banking & finance, technology and more#J-18808-Ljbffr
