Have meaningful impact as a Risk Lead Project Delivery YOUR ROLE We are looking for an experienced Project Delivery Risk Lead to drive activities that support the maturing of risk management within the Program.
You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery risk framework is effectively embedded within the program and drive continuous improvement of the framework, processes or tools/artefacts, as required.
Working with key stakeholders to support the identification, management and mitigations of delivery risks and create mechanisms to enable continued compliance with external and internal legislation, policies and standards.
You will support the escalation, discussion and reporting on escalated risks to program and Steering Committee and ensure that risks have the appropriate level of visibility, as required.
The following roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Support and contribute to the analysis and evaluation of strategic and delivery project risks against stated objectives and outcomes.Identify, interpret and analyse complex data to produce reports, visualisations, recommendations and evaluation of risks to inform decision-making, responses and future direction.Provide high quality and timely advice and reporting to Leadership and relevant committees.Act as a subject matter expert to influence and resolve issues and recommend solutions to ensure ongoing management of program risks.Conduct frequent risk reviews and risk health checks to ensure project governance requirements are adhered to.Establish, facilitate and maintain strong internal and external relationships.Make and communicate decisions considering internal and external policies, requirements and legislation/regulations.Facilitate risk assessments and workshops.This is a full time, permanent role that is open to people based in Australia or New Zealand near any of our major centres.
ABOUT YOU We're looking for a Risk Lead who is keen to really hit the ground running, along with the following experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CRM, CFA, FRM, PRM) preferred.Proven experience in risk management, with a track record of providing project risk support on large technology or transformation programs preferred.Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices, including risk assessment techniques, control frameworks, and compliance requirements.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and prioritize risks based on quantitative and qualitative factors.Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or requests simultaneously and drive them to successful completion within established timelines and budgets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of risk management and corporate governance.
