About the Job Join SA Water as a Risk Data & Performance Analyst and play a crucial role in delivering trusted water services for a sustainable and healthy South Australia. In this position, you will support our commitment to quality risk data management practices, enabling data-driven insights for the management, monitoring, and mitigation of risk. As part of the Business Insights and Excellence group, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective risk-based decision-making aligns with our organisational goals. As our new analyst you will join a high performing team that has a vision of providing data-rich insights to enable effective risk-based decision making and improved risk oversight.

Your responsibilities for this opportunity Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.
You will:
Validate data sources for metrics measuring lead and lag performance related to risk and controls. Maintain a data dictionary for Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Key Control Indicators (KCI). Collaborate with teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with enterprise strategies. Design mechanisms for timely monitoring and review of KRI, KCI, and other risk metrics. Develop user-friendly analytics tools for trend identification and real-time reporting. Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports, including risk reports for senior management. Analyse trends to identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Your success in this role will come from: Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, or similar fields. Advanced data analytics skills and familiarity with relevant tools and techniques. Experience managing large data sets and providing analysis for business decisions. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse stakeholders. Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities for autonomous and team-based work.
