The role reports directly into the Group General Manager Internal Audit & Operational Excellence, who reports jointly into the CEO and Board Audit Committee.The Risk & Control Analyst - Data role is primarily responsible for supporting the execution of audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of processes, systems and controls, and identify opportunities to improve. The role will have a particular focus on developing and delivering data analytics capability to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of audits.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to the development and ongoing prioritisation of the Internal Audit & Operational Excellence Work PlanAssist with the execution of audits in line with the Work PlanConduct comprehensive reviews of processes and systems to assess effectiveness of controls and identify opportunities for improvementConduct testing of processes and controls to assess operating effectivenessDevelop and implement data analytics to enhance auditsDevelop and maintain continuous monitoring programs using data analyticsAssist with the preparation of audit reports, documenting findings and recommendationsMonitor the status of recommendations for timely implementationAssist with the preparation of Management and Board reportsSupport initiatives to continuously improve audit processes and methodologiesMinimum Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related fieldsMinimum 3 years experience in Internal Audit or Risk related rolesProficient in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, PowerBIStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalStrong attention to detailProactive and inquisitive mindsetSometimes the best candidates don't have 100% of what is listed above, but if you have most and are confident, we'd love to hear from you!Sound like you?
