Karras Cold Logistics are specialists in partnering with businesses that require a critical refrigerated service where product quality cannot be compromised along the cold chain.We are currently seeking a skilled Risk & Compliance Coordinator to join a fast-paced 3rd party logistics company specializing in delivering high-quality transport and warehousing.Reporting to the National Risk Manager, you will be responsible for supporting teams and ensuring that there is a uniform quality and risk management framework across the business.In this role you will:Coordinate accreditation reviewsMonitor the policy & procedure frameworkMonitor & report on quality/risk improvementsAssist in the implementation & review of the risk management frameworkCoordinate the receipt, follow-up and report of feedbackSupport managers in leading strategic continuous improvement activitiesManage policies and procedures ensuring consistency across businessManage all change, approval and document control processesCoordinate and support internal audits within businessManagement of quality registers and databasesUnderstand and identify potential hazards that may occur in all food handling operations carried out in the businessEvaluate data and develop accurate, concise and useful quality management documents following company proceduresMaintain and update all QM documents and correspondence well organized and confidentialConduct national oversight audits for customers as requiredReport important outcomes and issues related to risk management to senior managementManage and investigate incidents, analyzing viability, risk and providing solutions to minimize exposureConduct safety training programs and inspections to ensure staff and customers abide by policies and standardsUpdate and implement risk management policies and safety standardsTo succeed in the role you will have:Demonstrated experience in coordinating the quality and risk function within a logistics settingKnowledge of contemporary Quality and Risk principlesAn ability to engage employees to actively participate in continuous improvementHighly developed communication and technical skills with experience in report writing and presentationsDemonstrated experience in HACCP and related principles essentialDemonstrated experience and accreditation to conduct internal auditingExcellent attention to detail with highly developed organizational and time management skillsYou may not fit the requirements 100%, we focus on training and development.
