Finity is looking to recruit a Risk & Compliance Consultant to join Finity's Management Consulting practice on a permanent full-time basis.We are looking for: Working with usFinity is the market leading actuarial consulting and strategic analytics firm in Australia and New Zealand. Our clients range from tech starts up through to large scale organisations across insurance, finance and government.About the roleThe Risk & Compliance Consultant will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, assisting clients with implementing regulatory reforms, analysing data, and preparing reports, frameworks and recommendations to clients. You will be part of the team assisting clients across a range of risk and compliance consulting projects in general and private health insurance.This role offers an exciting career development opportunity for a risk and compliance professional with approximately 3-5 years' experience.Key responsibilities Developing risk and compliance policy documentationDeveloping/reviewing governance and monitoring frameworksAnalysing potential risks and developing risk mitigation strategiesPreparing reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clientsMonitoring and analysing emerging risksContributing to the development of new consulting services and offeringsLiaising with clients to plan and manage projectsFacilitating the delivery of client risk workshops and project meetingsAbout you Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. risk management, finance, law, insurance or other business-related discipline)Minimum 3 years' experience in a related role (e.g. risk management, insurance, management consulting) with a proficient level of risk management expertise in the insurance industryThorough knowledge and understanding of risk management concepts, requirements and governance frameworksPractical knowledge of APRA prudential standards and other relevant legislationDemonstrated expertise in working with teams and working independentlyStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to build and maintain professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning and develop consulting relationshipsStrong project management skillsWe are open to considering part-time working arrangements for this role.
