About the role
Reporting to the SOCI Program Manager, you will partner with the business to promote the delivery of risk practices in line with the SA Water Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Your support of key internal stakeholders will enhance the performance of the CIRMP and mature the organisation's risk culture and compliance to security of critical infrastructure legislation. With a primary focus on supporting the business to identify and manage risks related to critical infrastructure, you will maintain ongoing collaboration and regular engagement with key internal stakeholders and embedded risk professionals across the business.
Key requirements of the role include: Lead the business through a partnering approach to conduct risk management activities in accordance with the CIRMP and Risk Management Framework with a focus on critical infrastructure.Provide risk advice and specialist risk support to the business, within the context of critical infrastructure risk, as defined by Security of Critical Infrastructure legislation and the SA Water CIRMP.Ensure risk information is current to inform the formal quarterly reports of our risk information to Executive, the Board and Board Sub-Committees.Lead the business through a partnering approach to improve the risk maturity by undertaking improvement activities as outlined in the Enterprise Risk Management Uplift Program.Work collaboratively with Enterprise Risk Team members, risk professionals in Capital Project Delivery, and other embedded risk specialists and Subject Matter Experts to develop and implement tools, practices, and processes to improve the identification, management, and mitigation of risks arising from significant projects and initiatives.Contribute to maintaining and embedding a Risk Community of Practice to ensure a consistent application of risk practices in the business and support the business through participation in working groups and provide risk input as required.Your success in this role will come from: Demonstrated application of risk management principles and practices within an infrastructure-based organisation.Relevant recent experience in risk management or related fields e.g., audit, strategy, regulatory compliance management, project management, etc.Intermediate to Advanced capabilities in GRC software applications and Excel.Strong influencing, negotiation skills, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable establishment and maintenance of positive relationships with stakeholders.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
