x 2 Permanent positions availableManager Risk and Control Advisory and DeliveryTeam: The HR Line 1 Chief Controls Office partners with HR to recognise, evaluate and manage operational and compliance risks, while providing insights aligned to delivering customer-focused business solutions.
Impact and Contribution: The HR Chief Controls Office (CCO) team helps deliver positive risk outcomes in HR and the Group by ensuring that effective controls are in place and decisions are well-informed, timely, and socialised.
We achieve this by providing specialist advice and assurance to our HR teams in the design & implementation of controls across HR key processes, ensuring the operational risk & compliance frameworks are implemented and each HR Domain has the right level of comfort and governance within their business environment.
Your Responsibilities:Execute on the activities defined in the Group's Operational Risk Management Framework, Compliance Management Framework and other Group policies and procedures that are in place to ensure HR risks and compliance obligations are managed.Enhance risk culture and awareness through strong challenge and collaboration.Engage with a broad spectrum of stakeholders across the Group including delivery teams, cyber security specialists, privacy specialists, business owners and operational risk.Lead risk assessment activities.Inform and influence senior stakeholders for better customer and risk outcomes.Leverage productive and proactive working relationships with Lines 2 & 3, regulators, and other Controls teams.Your skills and experience: All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss, and act on current and future risks.
You will need a minimum of 5 years' experience in operational or technology risk/compliance management roles.
You will also need:Controls design and testing experience - exposure to testing automated/system controls is preferable.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Sound understanding of key legislation and regulations impacting financial services, i.e., Privacy.Stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Influencing and consulting skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.Strong understanding of Excel or other data analysis tools.Experience in an advisory and/or data analytics role is advantageous.Your Career: If you live the values and demonstrate the people capabilities, we can offer great opportunities.
