Role Responsibilities: Proactively role model service delivery and expectations by understanding, embedding and maintaining policies and procedures.Promote a strong culture of risk and compliance awareness and management across the school and provide learning opportunities to support the capability of our staff to manage risks.Advise School Leadership of relevant changes to regulations, legislation, policies, and procedures.Deliver and advise staff, students and the school community on policy updates and publish via appropriate channels.Facilitate the completion and report on risk and compliance tasks through the appropriate avenues.Facilitate/support the maintenance of organisational registers.Advise and facilitate the conduct of risk assessment by responsible staff members for school events.Essential Skills and Experience: Excellent organisational, time-management and leadership skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with various stakeholders.Proven ability to build and sustain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Strong work ethic.The successful candidate will possess: A proven track record in managing risk and compliance, with a focus on sustainability and operational improvement.An ability to manage multiple tasks to achieve both project and operational outcomes.Strong knowledge of building, equipment and vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.IT skills in conjunction with knowledge of systems.Relevant Qualifications & Certifications.To be eligible to be considered for this role you will: Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.Have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.Have a commitment to Safeguarding.The Archdiocese of Brisbane has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
