Risk and Compliance - Manager level, 9-Month ContractOur client is a boutique financial services business (funds/wealth management) looking for a dynamic legal, risk and compliance professional to join their team for a 9-month fixed term contract.
You will be working directly with the Head of Risk and Compliance as their 2IC, gaining hands-on and broad exposure managing the risk and compliance function.
Responsibilities: Ongoing monitoring and review of compliance obligations and risk management frameworksConducting risk and compliance monitoring activities and risk assessmentsDrafting, implementing, and reviewing policies and proceduresManaging incidents, breaches, and complaints, managing all registersReviewing promotional materials and disclosure documentsPreparing board and committee papersPreparing and delivering risk and compliance training and education programsKeeping up to date with regulatory and legislative changesProviding risk and compliance advice to the businessIdeal Candidate: Circa 4-7 years legal, risk, and compliance experienceBackground in financial services, especially in funds management and wealth managementExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levelsAbility to be hands-on and work in a fast-paced environmentRelevant tertiary qualificationsThis is a great opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic candidate looking to see the breadth of a risk and compliance function.
