Clough has an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Bidding Expert to join the Bidding Team in Sydney!
Reporting to the Corporate Risk Director with a functional reporting line to the Heads of Bidding (Energy & Resources / Infrastructure), the successful candidate will be accountable for managing and reporting risk on all bidding activities.Who we areWe are a pioneering project delivery company.

These are just a few words that describe you.Your focus will include:Ensure the effective implementation of risk management practices in the bidding function.Promote a risk-aware culture within the business, encouraging a strong understanding and commitment to risk management (providing awareness training where gaps are identified).Review EOI and RFP documentation to identify potential risks and ensure alignment with client and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with the bidding team to identify all significant risks associated with project bids.Lead risk workshops and review sessions with relevant teams and senior management.Challenge stakeholder assumptions/ assertions where appropriate.Proactively interact with discipline leads to ensure productive risk assessments, selection of appropriate risk response strategies, and quantification of risk impacts.Establish and maintain detailed risk registers ensuring all identified risks are tracked and managed throughout the tendering process.Assist and collaborate with the planning department on schedule risk analyses.Support senior management with detailed risk reports, contingency calculations, and analyses.Provide relevant input to management and board reporting.From time to time, you may be required to support risk management processes for projects in the delivery phase in addition to bids.What you will bring to the team:Degree in Operations, Engineering or related field/ equivalent experience.10+ years' experience in relevant field.Risk experience including exposure to risk tools and methodologies e.g.
