Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport, as well as investment in the suburbs, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other.
Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts and oversee construction and the other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.

Your expertise will contribute to safeguarding project integrity, fostering a culture of risk awareness, and supporting project efficiency.
Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Facilitating risk assessments and workshops, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, assessing potential impacts, and ensuring the implementation of appropriate controls, with clear allocation of responsibilities to relevant stakeholders.Developing and maintaining the risk and actions registers, ensuring they are regularly monitored and acted upon by responsible parties to maintain project integrity and accountability.Supporting periodic risk status reporting, including the timely escalation of risks that exceed acceptable thresholds, to ensure prompt and effective resolution.Developing and sustaining effective partnerships with stakeholders to embed risk management practices within all processes, fostering a culture of risk awareness and proactive management.Training stakeholders as required on the organisation's Risk Management Framework, Program Risk Management Plan, and Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) system to ensure consistent understanding and application of risk management practices across all project activities.Acting as a key contributor to the continuous improvement of the GRC system for project risk management.Identifying and implementing improvements in the project risk management processes, streamlining operations and enhancing overall project efficiency.This is a permanent, full-time role.

Minimum RequirementsExperience in risk management for large civil and infrastructure projects, encompassing all phases from concept through to completion and operation.An understanding of associated risks, particularly in procurement, commercial contracts, and project management.Ability to support the development, implementation, and application of project risk management policies and procedures.An understanding of national and international risk management standards (e.g.
