Rimfire Resources | Product Manager - Implements

Details of the offer

The Company:
This organisation produces equipment that is renowned for its high performance, durability and reliability. They supply the agriculture and construction sectors with equipment specifically designed to thrive in the harsh Australian conditions. Over decades they have established strong relationships with their highly valued authorised dealer network, and it is through these distribution channels that these products reach all corners of Australia.
The Position:
As the Product Manager for the Implements division, you will drive a range of activities to introduce and maintain a compliant, saleable implements product line for our client. This is a hybrid role that will see you out in the field, meeting with your customers, the dealer groups, while also ensuring all your reporting, planning and pricing responsibilities are met back at head office. The role will suit a person that has an interest in technical equipment. You will act as a consultant, advisor and support to dealer businesses and end users with a focus on technical product advice and information. You will be a person that enjoys building your networks through information and education. You will initiate sales bulletins and promotions and deliver sales related product presentations.
The Person:
We are keen to hear from you if you have the background, key skills and attributes:
Hands on experience undertaking a broad range of product management activity related to the sale of capital equipment. An understanding and general interest in supporting and servicing the agricultural sector. An understanding of the Australian agriculture/farming practices, tillage and seeding techniques. Prior account management experience and relationship building skills. Strong general business acumen. High level of written and verbal communication skills, inclusive of report writing and presentations. Valid drivers licence. A valid passport allowing all conditions for interstate and international travel. Suitable level of proficiency in MS Office/Google suites and ERP systems. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field will be highly regarded but not essential. Your salary will be made up of base, super, vehicle allowance and performance based annual bonus. It does require a person that enjoys being out in front of their customers and will welcome working within a KPI driven structure where your outcomes are measured and your performance recognised.
