Search Current Positions Right at Home Gold Coast Northern Rivers is seeking an energetic, creative, and engaging personality to join our team as an Activities and Lifestyle Coordinator. Focusing on Clients' choice and enjoyment, you will develop and implement an engaging Activity and Lifestyle program that respects and celebrates the diverse interests, customs, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds of our clients.
About the role: We are looking to add a dedicated and passionate Activities and Lifestyle Coordinator to lead our Care team in the delivery of quality programs for our clients both community access and In-house. This will be suited for someone who is willing to have 22 hours a week and will be willing to pick up extra shifts to support the program as it grows.
Reporting to the People and Culture Manager; the Activities and Lifestyle Coordinator will have a vital role in planning and implementing innovative and inclusive lifestyle programs for all clients to support them to live their BEST life. This rewarding role will see you help to empower our clients - enriching their everyday lives.
You will be responsible for: Planning, designing, and the delivery of appropriate and varied lifestyle programs that meet the individual needs of clients with a month in advance programs Assessments, reviews, and ongoing evaluation of the lifestyle program to ensure positive client outcomes and support ongoing education and improvements in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards Encouraging our clients to attend the program Produce digital marketing to the wider community and via social media and emails Provide training and support to care staff involved in the delivery of lifestyle programs Engage with third-party organizations to develop networks and investigate contemporary best practices Maintain the Lifestyle roster of the attendees Provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive, and professional relationships with clients, their relatives and friends, modeling the RAH values and Code of Conduct About you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our clients, to support them to facilitate independent living, health, and happiness.
What you will need: Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure (or equivalent) and experience in leading lifestyle activities Strong ability to develop lifestyle care plans Understanding of Lifestyle compliance and accreditation compliance nationally Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong attention to detail Excellent knowledge of Aged Care National Quality Standards Advanced skills in MS Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS Teams Australian Federal Police Clearance Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations What we offer: Ability to work independently Access to our Employee Assistance Program Staff recognition programs Ongoing support and advice from experienced, friendly, local office staff Award: SCHADS Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services At Right at Home, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve .
