We are seeking a skilled and reliable Rigger to join our client's dynamic team. As a Rigger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient setup and dismantling of rigging systems on various construction sites. Your ability to work at heights, operate machinery, and use hand and power tools will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities: Perform rigging and lifting operations in accordance with safety standards and project requirements. Set up, inspect, and maintain rigging equipment, including ropes, cables, pulleys, and winches. Collaborate with team members to ensure proper load distribution and safe lifting techniques. Adhere to all safety protocols, including working at heights and confined spaces. Follow detailed instructions and work plans to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. Operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) as required. Maintain a clean and organised work environment on-site. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project progression. Minimum Requirements: White Card: Must have a valid White Card for construction site work. High Risk Licence - Riggers: Required for all rigging tasks. Drivers Licence and Own Transport: Essential, as work sites vary. Working at Heights Ticket: Required for tasks performed at elevated levels. EWP Ticket: Experience with Elevated Work Platforms. Construction Industry Experience: Proven experience in the construction industry with the ability to use hand and power tools effectively. Right to Work in Australia: Must have valid working rights. Reliability and Punctuality: Strong emphasis on attendance and time management. Physical Fitness: Must be strong and fit, able to handle physically demanding tasks. Adaptability: Able to adjust to different work environments and tasks. Listening and Learning: Strong ability to listen, learn, and follow instructions meticulously. Confined Space Certification: Required for tasks performed in confined spaces.
