We are currently seeking a Despatch Officer to join our team in Toowoomba. Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the key focus of this role is to process orders and oversee the order fulfillment cycle.

Things our employees feel are great reasons to join the Toowoomba team include: A team that provides & supports plenty of future opportunity (training/promotion) The central location - right in the heart of Toowoomba Social club Employee share scheme Employee staff accounts (discounted feed) The key responsibilities for this position include: Comply with relevant OHS legislation Coordinate & support inbound and outbound customer order preparation and dispatch Arrange transportation and coordinate deliveries to meet customer demand Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines Utilize daily/weekly/monthly inventory reporting to anticipate demand/supply needs Understand inventory levels and work with site leadership team to help generate sufficient levels of inventory to optimise availability for customers. Continually assess systems to identify issues and opportunities for improvement. Support the control of warehouse inventory and stocktakes. Assist in the ongoing development and training of site personnel in the implementation of the despatch office and warehouse processes. Contribute to an effective team environment within the warehouse and site/despatch administration Support and assist with the order picking process within the warehouse The key requirements of this role include: Experience in an office environment Sound knowledge of accounting and administration functions Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office systems Strong verbal, negotiation and written communication skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Planning and organising skills Analytical ability Initiative and decisiveness Warehouse Certificate IV (desirable) 2+ years experience in warehousing or inventory management or logistics environment (desirable) Who we are?
