Reporting directly to the Health, Safety & Environment Director, you will join a passionate and skilled HSE team with the goal to ensure work is safe in all ways, for everyone.
About the Role
As the HSE Systems Specialist within Rheinmetall Defence Australia, you will be responsible for maintaining RDA's OHS Management System (OHSMS), Environmental Management System (EMS) and Energy Management System (EnMS), Health and Safety data and reporting, incorporating all internal and external assurance activities.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the integrity of data collection systems and the reliability and validity of data and analysis to ensure critical risks are identified and inform the strategies and programs of work.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
An ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of WH&S laws, regulations and industry codes; Experience in maintaining the internal requirements of ISO certifications ISO45001, ISO14001 and ISO50001; Experience in data analysis, data visualization, and data management tools such as Excel and Power BI (essential); Experience in online safety systems such as MyOsh or similar; Experience in SharePoint, design and maintenance; An ability to gain trust and work effectively with a diverse range of people across the business; Tertiary qualifications (or working towards) in Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, Data Analytics or Information Management; Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
