Rfq-Asd-59-2024 Ict Security Systems Engineer

Experienced Security Systems Engineer and Analytics Specialist required to develop and enhance ASD ICT security systems. The service provider will be responsible for engineering activities and tasks relating to requirements development, system definition, design and development, integration, verification and validation. This role will include responsibility for implementation of major analytic-driven activities to meet required business outcomes.
Proven knowledge of information security principles, practices and technologies.DESIRABLE: Experience with ICT security applications such as a SIEM (e.g. Arcsight, Splunk), and data analytic platforms.DESIRABLE: Experience with Windows and Windows security toolsDESIRABLE: Experience with *nix systems and *nix security toolsExecute systems engineering tasks in the design, development, deployment and sustainment of security capabilities.Develop complex analytics across large and varied datasets to achieve insights and answer security-based business requirements.Deliver technical visualisation of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers.Establish use cases, procedures and technical documentation to ensure delivery of security services.Engage with stakeholders to confirm that services meet the service acceptance criteria and are to the required standard.Other Features of the Role (e.g. location, travelling, shift hours,)
