Morse Micro is shaping the future of Wi-Fi technology for the multi-billion dollar Internet of Things markets. At Morse Micro you will be working with experienced professionals and engineers, some of whom are the team that invented the original Wi-Fi technology that is ubiquitous today.
Responsibilities Establish and maintain the manufacturing test process for Morse Micro Wi-Fi products. Drive technical issue resolution during NPI to enable timely readiness of RF testing facilities and related equipment. Drive yield analysis and root-cause analysis during production operations, and coordinate change projects to improve yield Work with internal and external stakeholders (contract manufacturers) to plan, design, build and commission RF test facilities. Work together with RF test engineers and technicians to conduct testing of engineering and production devices Conduct risk assessments and process improvement initiatives Work closely with factory teams to enable RF testing in development & mass production. Attend and drive technical meetings with engineers to track and follow-up blocking issues. Qualifications / Experience / Skills Background education or training in wireless communications systems, signal processing, RF propagation, radio / WLAN / telecommunication or relevant fields Experience working in a dynamic engineering/development environment Experience in conducting yield analysis and reporting in a production environment, liaising with internal and external stakeholders (contract manufacturers) Must be able to participate in technical discussions related to RF testing with the cross-functional teams. Applied knowledge of RF components, testing and integrated circuits Exposure to test systems and test equipment used in wireless technology verification, such as Keysight / Agilent equipment Knowledge of Wi-Fi technology is required. General knowledge of telecommunication standards is a plus. Strong problem solving and debugging skills with a solid understanding of core engineering principles, fundamental circuit design, and analytical techniques is required.
