You will liaise with and support both internal and external stakeholders, collect and analyse data to support the global corporate businesses in maximizing land commission revenues.
You will maintain, audit, and improve processes and controls to ensure the highest data quality, be the corporate land commissions recovery expert for corporate brands, especially in the AU and NZ region, working closely with internal supply, finance, and operations teams to achieve business goals and KPIs.
You will report jointly to the Global Corporate Land Commissions Manager and the AU Corporate Head of Supply.
Primary Accountabilities & Objectives: Commission Revenues Collection - Audit and validate hotel responses for accuracy and completeness of commission revenues received - Contact, resolve discrepancies and build strong positive relationships with suppliers to manage commission recovery, timely payments, and data quality.
- Work closely with external commissions collections companies to identify outstanding commissions Support - Gain a deep understanding of the internal stakeholders' experience relating to the data and commission revenues to support their expectations, vision, and goals - Investigate unallocated payments and chase for backup information from suppliers Reporting - Develop and maintain reporting processes and systems for internal businesses to measure performance of the suppliers and validate earned and tracked commissions - Create a regular report to effectively communicate repeat data quality, supplier performance and/or internal issues that affect the critical efforts to recover and reconcile commission revenue Data Quality Management - Monitor and analyse data quality issues to ensure maximising commission revenue recovery by external commissions collections companies - Help maintain data quality standards by identifying and resolving data discrepancies or inconsistencies - Analyse existing data for quality and coordinate the implementation to improve the data and establish data quality protocols Collaboration - Work closely with other members of the team, internal businesses in other countries and external suppliers to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights - Support the commission specialists in the other regions to maximise recovery and reconciliation Change Management - Identify opportunities for improving business processes through functional and non-functional requirements - Design and maintain a process in cooperation with the Finance teams to leverage Onyx's data and use it for optimising commissions' collection Experience & Qualifications: Knowledge of various collection techniques Previous experience with administration of billing and reporting activities in response to deadlines Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated success using analytics and research to provide insights and design action plans Ability to successfully deliver solutions to agreed quality, time and specification Perform duties independently and in collaboration with others when needed Develop, implement, manage and document business processes, functions, and procedures Demonstrated ability to work with the business to achieve business goals Understanding of the processes and relationships between the travel agency and its suppliers Intermediate level experience of Excel What you'll Enjoy: Culture: You will be employed by an inclusive company that offers a team culture like no other in the industry - Flight Centre Travel Group Australia is proud to be a certified Great Place To Work Australia New Zealand Pty Ltd.
