The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring optimal patient billing experiences while maximising revenue through efficient billing, receipting, and debt collection processes.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the production and management of patients' accounts.
Handle revenue enquiries and ensure smooth communication with patients and clients.
Maximise revenue by supporting receipting, billing, and debt collection efforts.
Collect patient paperwork from Admissions daily, ensuring all necessary forms are complete and authorised.
File patient paperwork in alphabetical order and input patient details into the PBRC system.
Verify patient data, including name, admission date, financial class, and insurance details.
Follow up on aged debts, including contacting overseas patients and liaising with debt collection agents.
Handle unpaid inpatient fees and prosthesis accounts with health funds and insurance companies.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure payment plans and billing agreements are finalised for patients without pre-payment arrangements.
Perform weekly/monthly credit payments for patients on payment plans.
Manage edit checks in Cerner, ensuring patient details are correct, and coordinate updates as needed.
Assist with the management of dialysis patient billing on a monthly basis.
Key Requirements: Experience in patient billing, receipting, or debt collection.
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
Ability to handle revenue-related enquiries and maintain a high standard of customer service.
Familiarity with patient billing systems (e.g., Cerner) is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, especially in liaising with patients, health funds, and insurance companies.
Ability to manage competing tasks and meet deadlines.
