Department of Finance are looking for several Revenue Officers to join their team. This department is responsible for billing and optimising revenue from fee-paying patients and provides advice to senior management and hospital executive on the efficient management of resources with a particular emphasis on revenue opportunities, changes in revenue guidelines and legislation, revenue processes and systems at the state and commonwealth level. The successful applicant will ensure that customer accounts and payments are accurately identified recorded to a high standard, complying with the legislative frameworks and accounting requirements.

About the Role To perform a highly customer focused coordination role aimed at developing, implementing and maintaining processes that provides an effective and efficient invoicing and recovery function for Metro South Health.
Raise and send invoices to relevant customers, ensuring all chargeable services have been invoiced.Follow up outstanding accounts with the appropriate debtor through monthly trial balance review.Follow up accurate completion of private Patient Election Forms, Acute Care Certificates, National Private Patient Hospital Claim Forms and any other documentation that will facilitate payment as required.Prepare payments for receipting in SAP and HBCIS systems.Conduct quality audits of accounts and systems and provide and interpret appropriate reports to maintain system integrity.General administration duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry, sorting and distributing internal/external mail.Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.
