Job Description
What you will do: Reporting to the Senior Revenue Manager, the Revenue Distribution Specialist plays a key administrative role in supporting the Revenue Management team by executing rate, inventory, and distribution strategies as directed by the Revenue Manager. This position ensures the accurate implementation of pricing, availability, and promotional initiatives across all systems and distribution channels, contributing to the overall revenue optimization for the business.
This position is a perfect stepping stone for those currently in a reservations based role, with a passion to grow their career, to be a future Revenue Manager.
Key responsibilities include: Rate and Inventory Implementation:Action rate updates, restrictions, and inventory adjustments in Property Management Systems (PMS), and Channel Management platforms as directed by the Revenue Manager.Channel Administration:Maintain system connections with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and other booking platforms.Execute promotional offers and packages on distribution channels as outlined by the Revenue Manager.System Maintenance and Accuracy:Perform regular audits of rates, inventory, and channel configurations to ensure data integrity.Reporting and Documentation:Generate and update weekly and monthly reports on channel performance.Team Support and Collaboration:Provide administrative support to the Revenue Manager by actioning system updates and implementing revenue strategies.What you will bring: Relevant experience in a reservations or revenue management, hospitality administration, or a similar role.Exposure to Revenue Management.A good understanding of revenue related statistics.Analytical skills.Excellent time management.Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills.Knowledge of Property Management Systems, Siteminder & third-party websites (preferred).What's in it for you?
